Just curious to know.................
I was on a trip through Namibia and mildly plodding along with my visor slightly open (as Im sure alot of us do), when a bug smacked the tip of my mouth piece of the helmet.
I was not worried about the fluid/bits of bug that the bug sprayed onto my face and thought "no worries I will wipe my face on the next stop". At the next stop I used a wet wipe to wipe my face and felt a bit of a nip and thought that i had a bit of sunburn and the alcohol from the wet wipe that was doing the nipping.
Later on that afternoon at a road side bench - I stopped and now had a pearl-er of a blister on my face!!
Here's the question ???.......... those adventurers out there, Have you ever had the same happen and what bug is it that eats your face up?
