Last week while riding on one of the back roads outside Durbanville, my wife and I were nearly taken out. We came up behind a 4x4 who was stuck behind a construction truck. We followed them both through a bunch of corners and finally came to a nice straight stretch of road. There was no oncoming traffic so I waited to see if the 4x4 would overtake the truck. Nothing. So I put my indicator on, dropped a cog and went for it. As we started passing the 4x4 he decided to overtake the truck, pushing us into the yellow line on the wrong side of the road 
Looking back I see him waving his arms like I had come out of nowhere or something ??? This was probably the closest call I have had yet. My wife was a little shaken, but by no means deterred :thumleft:
