need help choosing a bike: Tenere or BMW 1100 or KLR or XT?

Basically i'm in the market for a bike in the range of 30-35k.

I have a few options to consider newer  KLR or XT600 or older BMW or Tenere. So basically I'm asking for advice, I like the look and feel of the Tenere and I like the fact that the BMW is more capable on the open road. Then again on the other hand The newer bikes offer more reliability and easier resale when i'd like to upgrade...

I have the amount in cash so financing won't be a problem for the older bikes.
I've seen a few ads and offers on all of these bikes
2007 KLR650 for about 33000 -35000
2007 XT600 for 28 000
1998 BMW 1100 for 35 000
1999 Tenere for 30 000 (negotionable)

So what do you guys think, what will the best bike be for a guy to get into riding again after 10 years of not riding... (My previous bike was a 1982 XT500 ) I have to add when I was still riding the XT500 I always dreamt of having a Tenere...
