Neutral indication light

Hi, so on the last couple of rides once I got the problem when I turn off the bike, the neutral light does not show but the bike is in neutral. E can feel it cos the bike will run back or forwards. So obviously when try restart the bike it won't turn over cos the neutral light is not on. After playing with it for half an hour or so the light comes on and bike will start. Its a KTM 950.

Any comments or assistance?
