I was told to come here and "introduce" myself before posting anything, or else I won't get any help and I will be attacked by all and sundry...

What can I tell you?

I'm David, I live in Cape Town, I'm 33 and I ride a Yamaha Tenere XT600Z 1983 34L.  His name is Dozer.

I've only ever ridden Yamaha's - mainly XT500's and XT600's, but,

I also have a classic 1979 Yamaha 125 Electric for when I don't feel like kicking the shit out of my 25 year old Dozer.

:3some: 3 of us are heading all the way up Africa (West and Central) in 3 weeks time.

I am desperately seeking a seat for my Tenere (it mysteriously dissappeared while being transported after blowing a head gasket...)

If I can't find one I will have to resort to using my Horse Saddle! :imaposer:

Where should I post this message looking for a seat - or can some moderator do it on my behalf?
