Logged in as a guest for a few days to get the "feel" of the forum and liked what I saw...
I have been riding dirt since the 80's. (DR600 most of the time) Sold the bike when our first child was born, thinking that I was finished with biking. Just could not not get rid of thinking and "fanticising" about bikes. (Maybe I need professional help of some sort?!
Anyhow, bought a BMW Dakar last year and is enjoying every minute since. I also ride to work and is really amased about how quickly I had to replace my back tyre. Seems they are made these days not lto ast very long ...
Did try to park it in the dining room at first, but the wife, lovely as she is, told my I had two choices ....
Hope to meet many of you on the dirt roads soon.
