Just wanted to introduce myself...
Just bought a 2002 BMW 1150 GS, its my first "Proper" bike. I have mainly ridden smaller off road bikes in the past and now wanted to get something I can use on a regular basis. It was a Cape bike and have brought it up to JHB, it needs a bit of work - surface rust and just a bit of love and attention. It has been standing for over a year so want to get it looking like new. will be needing some parts and lots of advice and help.
Friend introduced me to this site and think it is brilliant, I have read a lot already and looking forward to getting to know the bike.
I am in the east rand, Benoni area.
Look forward to learning from you guys and contributing if my 2c has any relevance.
