New small Dual Purpose bike input appreciated

Hello looking to buy another bike would like input on what to consider, must have or be:

- road legal (obvious)
- smaller than 500 cc 4 stroke or similar performance two stroke
- bike must be new or not later than 2009 model
- No bike that requires overhauling/ openining it up every couple of thousnad kms like an Aprilia 450/550 or BMW GX 450;
- can take bigger tank mod if required.
- weigh not more that 145 dry

Was looking at DRZ 400 or similar
