I am planning a sort of cross country around and over trip during June. As I have only had the 1150 for 3 weeks now I have stayed away from any gravel roads, but as time goes on I will definitely start including some roads along the way so the plan will change.
Basically any comments or advice on the route, distances per day and places to stay and or see along the way would be appreciated, as well as gear to pack. the girlfriend will be coming along (another reason I have not decided on gravel roads at this stage). My time limit is about 15 days, so no rush really.
The Harrismith to Kimberley leg will definitely go via Golden Gate and Clarens etc.
Thanks in advance and yes, if anyone is in a town I am staying over in we can most cedrtainlyarrange for a dop at the local wetting station.
