I am doing a night ride out of Fourways next Wednesday 17th November 2010. Start time 20h00. The idea is to experience max variety of road / track surfaces, and to encounter minimum interference from vehicular traffic. The route I have in mind will include some in-town tar roads, some gravel roads, and some farm tracks. The round trip will be around 100 to 120km. There will be 2 or 3 smoke breaks. Should be back in Fourways before midnight.
From my experience, the main niggles will include: Head light adjustment, light reflecting of the front mudguard and rearview mirror adjustment.
If it is absolutely pouring rain at 20h00 we will make a democratic decision.
