This is a sad day, Motociclismo has broken the terrible news: The Ducati factory team is pulling out of WSBK at the end of this season...  :'(

However, Ducati will still supply parts to the private teams.  :-\

That's a massive blow to WSBK.  Gabriele Del Torchio said that this decision enable them to focus more on the development of production motorcycles.  And perhaps Rossi's contract with Ducati in MotoGP has something to do with it... and most probably Ducati's poor results on this ongoing season of World Superbike.

Since 1988, Ducati has won 13 titles, 285 victories, and had 704 podiums.
