Hi I'm Thump from PE

riding a 2005 KLR650 Bought in May 2007.
First Bike, Bought on advice from Swaar in Jhb.
best advice I was ever given.
I only saw it when I fetched from Couriers in PE.
got it off the trailer at home and had to work out how it works. (manual only came down later in the week.)
Am officially hooked
Saturdays ride was from PE, through Elandrivier pass, around/over Cockscomb through grootriviepoort to Steytlerville.
on to Willomore for Lunch and then through Baviaanskloof to Patensie then PE.
Took fly rod with but was too busy riding and taking in the sights to fish.
next time I will take 2 days to leave time for more exploring and maybe fishing.
±574km in 11.5 hrs.
Some pics attached. hope it works.
Last one is the fire over the N2 near van staadens bridge looking back after I shook myself off to ensure no embers were still on me.
I think my wet jocks prevented me from catching fire.
