Northwest to Madikwe....

Planning a solo ride via Groot Marico to overnight somewhere near Madikwe
game lodge.
My concerns :
1. Road conditions , very sandy ? ( Can only pick up the Pig so many times!)
2.Are bikes allowed to drive through Madikwe ?
3. Anybody know of a good route from Madikwe going east to eventually include Rankins pass ?
4. Anybody want to join me ,leaving from Jhbg tomorrow midday ?
