I usually take extra petrol in an empty 2L coke bottle on longer runs . Problem is the first cupfull you always spill all over
your tank and hot engine .
Came up with a simple and easy to make solution .
1) Bought this little fitting at a hardware store . Not sure what it's used for . You get it in different sizes , I used the 12mm one . Discard the o-ring , you won't be needing that .
2) Drill a 11,5mm hole through a cap . Take the new type , without the rubber seal . I use a decent type superglue like
Loctite Superglue , add a little to the lip of the fitting and press it through the hole .
3) Glue a 12mm hose over this fitting , about 20-30cm long .
Done .
It stays in my kit , take up no space at all , and the empty coke bottle get thrown away as soon as possible .
