Yes, I know oil use is normal on the KLR, but I have a funny.
I can go and do heavy sand riding, and use almost no oil. But I mostly idle along the heavy sand humps. No real racing or chasing up dunes.
I had an Amageza trainer on the weekend, running up to 100kph, but generally running high in the gears. about 4000 to 5000 RPM in the tight and twisties.
The bike used 1.5L in 275kms :eek7: But its not smoking. Maybe a little if you blip the throttle after a long constant run. I have a normal front sprocket, but 5 teeth bigger at the back. Bike has 40 000kms on clock. 2007 Fugly
110kph = about 5000RPM.
Any ideas, recommendations.
