Oil leak from idle switch?

Afternoon all

I replaced the idle switch on my 2006 Dakar about 2500km ago and it seems as if oil is leaking from this same switch (this only started recently). First of all, is it possible for oil to leak from the idle switch and secondly, is it as easy as just tightening it up a bit? I already have first hand experience that it doesn't take too much effort to strip the platic bolt :-[
