The Adventure Motorcycling guys are planning a One Nite Stand to the hotwater springs resort at Badplaas on the 24th Feb
If you are wanting to join in no problem just diarize the dates and I will post more info regarding chalets and camping and who to contact.
The plan is, as uncomplicated as possible.
We will leave Saturday 24th Feb. from Gauteng at a central meeting point for those in the area, if you do not live in the area, no problem make your way there with your mates from the most scenic route possible.
We will go via Chrissiesmeer as there are scenic gravel routes in the area
How our One Nite Stands work
1 We definitely go the weekend stipulated ??.rain or sunshine (hopefully the latter)
2 We take the scenic route and if we go as a group we ride the same route, late comers take own routes or if from another region they take own scenic route.
3 We leave early Sat, sleep at the chosen venue Sat night and return home before dark Sunday
4 We take our own stuff, be it to camp or go up market in a chalet ("the bed and breakfast club") as well as our own food and drink (whether you get it there, that?s your decision)
5 Sat night we find a Braai place suitable to all at the venue and have a ball.
Nice simple one nite stand with like minded folk.
