Race Dog
Saturday afternoon, and I'm in the cage with the missus, driving almost the entire length of the Cape Road in PE, getting caught at every single robot. This mundane scenario is suddenly enlivened by the sound of 'rolling thunder' and the appearance of a trio of riders on Harleys.
Talk about stereotypes, Big dark beards. bare tattooed arms, mini pisspot helmets, colours with patches bearing the legend, "lLive to die", or something like that. Riding with the back of their heels resting on the forward footpegs.
But it was their determination to ride as a trio, three abreast across the road that provided the amusement, and in some cases the ire, of the rest of the traffic. A couple of times they got separated by a cage and showed their displeasure by a lot of noisy revving, and muscling past, to quickly resume their formation and rightful place at the head at each robot.
The last thing I saw of them, the trio became a foursome as a laaitie on a Chinese scooter squeezed his way in, and outdragged them away from the lights!
Thanks for the show guys, whoever you are. :lol8:
