Just like there is not enough to do thought we can slowly start resurecting one of these when we eventually finsih with a Tenere. Bought in a box from the infamous 2stroke Yami fan of Stellenbosch but as a farm run around or something like that. Being well warned its for parts rather and being a sucker for punishment with the last DT 250 project that was put on the shelf as somehow parts for 250 is scares. The 175 on the other hand seems to be no problem. Nothing like a bike that belonged to a teenager though with welded on gearlever and exhaust bolts. Enough sand and rusty bits on magneto side and a good healthy oil and water mix on clutch side. Kick startspline warn to bits- but even i can fix this he says- always loved the simplicity of 2 strokes. Could not remove magneto and bribed Superfox with some honey and problem was solved. Long way to go with enough other distractions but look forward to its ring ting ting sound
