I know the Overberg really well and would like to share some of it's beauty.
I have setup a nice ride for the beginners and experienced riders. Also have some alternative rides for the more advanced riders. :ricky:
This ride should take about 4-5 hours to complete including a breakfast stop. :coffee2:
Meeting place will be at Peregrine farm stall next to the N2 at the second turn-off to Grabouw from Capetown side.
Meeting time is 8:30am for 9am.
From Peregrine we will ride through Van der stel pass over Hawston-view road to Dassiesfontein. Breakfast! From there we will travel between the farms to Napier. Petrol for the bigger bikes.
Then into the mountains and valley's to come out at Stanford. From here we have to do some tar to Hermanus. At Hermanus a left into Hemel and Aarde valley and past the Dam through Karwyderskraal and over Hi-lands road. Back to the Farm-stall at Grabouw.
I know this is short notice. But since when do we need to make time for a ride. Just get on your bikes and ride!
