Long weekend what to do called jonw lets go for a ride.
No says jonw hurt my shoulder on my plastic bike but slashback is meeting a few bikes in Pietermaritzburg at 8am Monday morning.
Monday morning 8am we there 15 bikes rockup and 830 we away through some forest section out under ottos bluff and onto the roads in Umvoti valley.
Ive being riding in Natal Midlands for at least 10 years now and every ride is a new one this was no exception.
Not much time for photos as we had to keep up not knowing the route but senery was awsome
roads not to technical but good fun. Thanks to Ianb and co for organising. Lets make it at least once a month maybe we can start to scrath the surface of our part of this planet.
I will post these pics the route as a pic and as gdb file for those of you with mapsource and google earth. We ended off with late lunch at Amble in pup and grub.
