Planning a trip to Namibia

I am planning a trip to the Fish River Canon and Ais Ais in July. Plan is to trailer my GSA up to Upington and then leave from there. It may be a Solo bike trip two up, what do you suggest and what route would you suggest. Looking for some good gravel and scenic, no bike breaker or Bear Gryles routes ;D

Any details, accommodation, maps what to take with etc would be greatly appreciated.
