Plastic weld or seal fuel tank

Hi Dawgs,

My daugters standup type scooter's fuel tank is leaking at the seam. I've tried "welding" it with a soldering iron however it started to leak again after a couple of days playing.

Is there any type of glue / epoxy that could repair this  ???
