Hi everyone.

I desperately needed to give my beloved DR650 a sprocket and chain replacement, but didn't realise (after doing ALL of the work) that the EK 525 chain I got comes with a rivet master link. I thought it will come with a clip style master link (easy assembly). So now my bike is stuck at home without a chain, which I use to get to work.

Is there anybody out there in the Southern Suburbs area of Cape Town willing to lend me a chain rivet tool. I will only need it for about an hour or two and can return it the same day. I am a firm believer in buying your own tools, but after spending a bit short of R2000 on it already, getting a R1500 to R2000 tool at this point for me is very unrealistic.

I thought I'd try to get the correct tool before going the C-clamp and bearing ball route.

I will appreciate any help.

Eddie
