Hi guys
I imported a bunch of these flashlights and I have 8 of them left.
This is probably the brightest flashlight you can buy. Maglight, Fenix, Petzl don't even come close.
It's got 3 brightness settings and two flashing modes (strobe & SOS), with memory of the last used setting.
On the brightest setting with a fully charged battery it lasts about 90 minutes, before you need to recharge. I haven't tested with the other settings, but I always carry a spare battery in-case I run out.
It's tough, I've been using mine for about 2 months on hikes/cycling/general-mess-around-at-home and haven't had any problems. It's got o-rings on the attachments and is water resistant (I used mine in the rain while camping), but I wouldn't dunk it in a bucket full of water or take it diving.
It is also very small:
Length = 12 cm
Diameter = 2.6cm (at thickest point)
Cost:
Flashlight + Rechargeable Battery + Charger = R650 (including postage anywhere in SA)
If you want spares you can add to that:
- Extra Rechargeable Battery = R100
- 90 degree handlebar mount = R30
- Straight mount = R30
See photos below for examples.
If you want to use the straight mounts to (e.g. to mount the torch on a helmet), I recommend you take 2 and secure the torch at the back and front otherwise it wobbles up and down a lot on off-road terrain.
The 90 degree mount works very well for my MTB.
If you're interested send me a PM.
