I am planning a trip to Lydenburg from Centurion somewhere between the 27th and the 29th of December 2020, It would be ride there sleep over (accommodation sorted) and the head back the next day.
I would like to avoid the N4 if possible, riding the highway seem as a waste.
I am taking a pillion along and am not good enough dirt to do the whole route on dirt.
My initial route is as follows:
Centurion to Balmoral via R104
Balmoral to Emalahleni (Wibank) via N4
Emalahleni (Witbank) to Middleburg via R104
Middleburg to Stoffberg Via R555
Stoffberg to Belfast via R33
Belfast to Lydenburg via Dullstroom on the R540
Any help or pointers as far as road conditions in the area are concerned will be greatly appreciated.
