Prescription goggle inserts
Has anyone in South Africa actually bought these locally?

I've chatted online with the guys from SportRx. They don't ship to SA, but I learnt that they make 15 different models that fit different goggles.
Apparently you can get a similar product from Amazon, but from the customer reviews it seems you run the risk of buying one that doesn't quite fit your goggles. It will also probably be stuck in our postal service for the next millennium - unless there's a way to exclude our dear national service?
If ordering just the inserts (some places such as SportRx fit the prescription lenses), it seems that you might not find a local optometrist who can actually fit the lenses for you, yet for SA it seems you only get the inserts...
Prescription sunglasses
I'm looking into photochromatic sunglasses for dual-sport riding. Reason for photochromatic: we've often ended up riding at night and then I still need to see, but I need sunglasses for the daytime (an eye disorder makes me quite photosensitive). Anyone had experience with these? Best frames? My dad has a pair, but the lens keeps separating from the frame.
I'm pretty much stuck with the options above because (A) my eyes are allergic to contact lenses and (B) I have an eye disorder that prevents me from going the laser surgery route (corneas too thin), most likely caused/worsened by my eye allergies. FML.
FYI: Rather than necromance an older thread, I decided to start a new one with a more descriptive topic. I'm hoping to get responses to my question...
