Pretoria - Maartens Drift - Plumtree - Bulawayo - Harare: Advice Please

Hi All,

I'll be riding my KTM 690 Rally up to Harare, via Maartens Drift (Border) , Plumtree (Border), and Bulawayo.

If anyone has ridden, or driven this route recently, I'd appreciate some "make life easier" pointers. Here, I refer specifically to the border crossing requirements/procedures.

I plan on leaving PTA at 04h00 on the 12th of December, and will ride straight through without night-stopping, or possibly night-stop in Bulawayo, depending on the time. I won't ride at night through Botswana, or Zimbabwe.
