It's quite alarming how many bikers have fairly serious accidents. I've been around several in just the past month or two. I myself have had two serious falls - luckily only a broken hand to show for it.
As much as I'm addicted to ADV riding, I find myself thinking more and more about the risks, and the effect falls may have on my body and my family.
It would be interesting to gather thoughts on a) the reasons we crash (perhaps some suggestions for a poll) and b) the idea that biking is unacceptably dangerous and selfish.
