progressive springs on XT 660 R ? yes or no?

Please advise: plaasmeisie popped a forkseal this weekend at the Northwest Roam...so while i have that fixed i might as well put progressive springs in? For a while now ive felt that the front is just hell on corrugations and hectic rocks..and as others on bigger bikes just cruise over them, and says"what corrugations?".... the bumping just exhausts me...kills my hands , elbows , and fillings.

will progressives improve this or am i wasting my money? Let me know your esteemed opinions on this please?
