My 800GS doesn't have crashbars because I never had the cash to buy them.
But then, as luck would have it, a recent meeting with Mother Earth cost me R12,000 in damages (ok my insurance covered it but still).
Conclusion: it's cheaper to fit crashbars than not.
So here's my question: which crashbars are the best for my bike - and for a reasonable price?
