Quick facts on rear tyres

What tyres should I buy if I live on a farm, drive 1st to 3rd gear mostly, but do gravel touring over weekends.  I do probably 60-70% gravel and rest tarmac.  I'm looking for a cheap tyre that will last longer than tha Maxxi I currently have on that will last on gravel.  No hectic technical stuff or cornering.  Thanks
