quieter exhaust for a KLR

Hi all , I have a Penta exhaust on my KLR , trouble is I live in a farming community and my bike scares the living daylights out of the animals I pass on the dirt road to my house - I dont want to be inconsiderate and I especially dont want to ride at under 50km on the dirt road home - any faster and my bike can be heard from quite far . Also I ride the forest roads near where I live which isnt strictly allowed so I would much prefer to be a little more stealthy . What is the quietest exhaust for a KLR ? When I remove my Penta exhaust will have I to change any carb settings etc ? Much thanks
