Hi Guys,
Need some advice here from the experts.

A while ago the fuel pipe to the injector broke off. I did what you call “ ‘n boer maak ‘n plan” fix and it lasted for a couple of years actually. But recetly I noticed it was leaking fuel here as the pipe is under pressure. So I needed to replace it.

Initially I thought it was only necessary to replace the plastic fitting with nozzle, but according to BMW you need to replace the whole thing, meaning the pipe and fitting going to both the injectors with the plasting fitting as it is one part (apparently).

R1500 from the agents. Thought to myself well that’s not too bad. Problem is to replace it I was told to remove the tank, seat, airbox and rear shock in order to fit the part.

Sounds like one hell of a job.

Can anyone confirm this or give some advice or tips or alternatives (if any)

Thanks in advance
