The LH cylinder studs in my R80 G/S motor are pulling out.
The previous owner 'repaired' it with an insert and now it is irreparable.
I need to replace the crankcase.
So I'm looking for a complete crankcase with good studs, or a complete motor to cannibalise.

Previous owners trying to fix faults cheap create current owners VERY EXPENSIVE corrective measures.
One cylinder has THREE helicoils, including one drilled to 14mm (10mm is original) and thread stripped.
The helicoil was Loctited to the block AND Loctited to the stud, so no oil could get past to the valve gear.
Both oil passages were partly blocked with Loctite in the block.
I now conclude that this bike had a major fall that damaged the LH cylinder and that unscrupulous repairers / owner carried out the repairs in a cheapskate manner.
