Rear wheel seemed a bit wobbly on the DR650 when on the stand and running in gear so i decided to change out the bearings as part of my fixing it up, and trying to locate the source of what i think is vibration originating somehere in the drive chain. Will also be fitting new sprockets and chain.

Anyhow, bearings had no play but the spacer had suffered previous damage. Possibly the result of a bearing failure in its past.

So there are two issues. The bearings came out very easy....maybe too easy and the spacer look like this.

Not sure if it can, or should, be re-used? What real impact does it have on the wheel?
