Rear brake fade

Hi guys

I have had my rear brake fade twice in the last month. It only happens when commuting in the city and having to break often between traffic lights and stop streets. On the longer weekend trips it has never happened. It fades to the point where there is no rear brake. After cooling off for about 15 minutes or so it's fine again.

Any suggestions? It's a 2012 KTM 990 adventure
