Sooooo, blasting down the highway in pouring rain this happened suddenly.... never seen this before, cracks plenty, but a shear, NEVER!
So, after considering various options I finally bit the bullet and bought a new item at an eyewatering price from KTM, do not ask, I never want to see that number in my life again lol....
Anyone got any idea what caused this though? The bike was not noisy before this happened, it let go in an earth-shattering way so must have been instantaneous to an extent!
