Lately I hear a fairly load klicking noise comming from the direction of the swingarm/rear shock of my Dakkie when I'm traveling at low speed on not too rough terrain. At first I thought it was the centerstand hitting against the frame but I checked it out and it's not either of the stands generating the sound.
I conducted some further tests and what I noted, when I trying to hop the rear of the bike, is that the sound is made when the bike moves upwards, far enough to lift the rear wheel from the ground. As the bike moves downwards I don't hear any abnormal sounds made by the suspension. The hard klack is thus only when the rear of the bike moves high enough so that the suspention reaches it's end. I haven't heard that before untill a few days ago. I checked for loose bolts or nuts, all seem to be secure... ???
What can it be, is it badnews?
