This was actually the brainchild of Footpeg but it seems this idea did not take off or he got lazy in the planning phase. I decided to plan a trip to see what the longest round trip would be that the most bikes can do from sunrise to sunset. The idea would be that only dirt roads will count for distance. The idea is to select a point within 150km from cape town where all willing would congregate at a overnight spot at the start of a dirt road.(greyton???) We would all then set of at sunrise to do a trip and end again at sunset sleepover spot within 150km from cape town (oasis???) Any interest. Im planning this for a date in the week of 6 to 9 Jan 2014. This trip would be very informal and not an organized race. Everyone would ride to his/her own ability. There would be a backup sweeper vehicle with a trailer to pick up or assist with breakdowns. Any interest please let me know.
