Raait, it’s Red Star Rock&Race time again!
But, we would like to see this as a first Gauteng Bash incorporating the track day fun and games as per last year.
Date: 2, 3 and 4 March 2012-01-23
Venue: Red Star Raceway, Delmas
Costs: 1. Entrance to the venue for the weekend including the entertainment, ablutions and braai facilities – R100-00 ( Payable at the gate)
2. Camping – R50-00 per night to be paid at the canteen.
3. Braai packs obtainable from the canteen again – R70-00 per pack (Bykosse will be included)
4. Drinks from the canteen as well for your own account.
5. Track day activities presented by Clinton Pienaar and his team of instructors including medics on site (Ask Stofstreep) - R590-00 per person.
6. Wild Dog merchandise will be on sale at the venue.
The idea is to build on the jol we had last year and make it an annual event.
People who come from far off can camp on Friday night in order to be there bright and early for the track event on Saturday.
Time trial based participation hosted by Clinton Pienaar of SA Biking Academy including a transponder per bike.
Classroom brief as from 09h00, training by professional instructors.

Please try to register and pay upfront to avoid a cluster on the day.
Please take note that breathalyzers will be used to check you and intoxicated folks will not be allowed on the track even if you’ve paid.
But obviously feel free to enjoy a few cold ones afterwards.
It is advised that you pitch with all your ATGATT…
Fully qualified medics and marshals will be on site for the duration of the event.
The track activities should be done by about 16h00 when a raucous party will most probably erupt.
Hoping someone will take the lead and maybe check out some dirt routes towards the east/Bronkhorstspruit/Cullinan for all to enjoy on Sunday before we go nurture our babbelankse. Volunteers? Or if you have known routes please post them here.
Ample camping for racing participants as well as spectators, excellent ablutions and showers, pool, braai fire, ice, pap, sheba and salads and we’ll have Jonathan Matrin AND No Quarter as the full band this time around so remember to pack your dancin’ shoes.
Laurika you promised strippers last year. What happened? Here’s a golden opportunity to make up for the boob boo...
Please do not ride home intoxicated after the event. Rather bring your camping goodies and have an excuse to get to know your “riding buddies” a bit better.
Children under the age of 18 will not be charged entrance.
So bring your wife, hubby, girl friend, skelm and sprouts along.
Please take the time to add your details to the attendance list so we can get an idea of numbers. (Use only your forum name on here please)
Only about 5 Zozo type chalets still available on site each with two single beds but bring your own hides and feathers. These can be booked with the owner Jacques Van Wyngaardt on 012 386 0916 or at [email protected] directly.
Full bar facilities on site as well as light meals and snacks during the day from the entertainment area at very reasonable prices.
Breakfast also available from the above for both mornings.
This event is being advertised in a few motorcycling magazines as per the attached ad and is open to non Wild Dogs as well so please spread the gospel.
