Registering a bike in SA

Hope someone can help me, my wife and I are moving to SA in March and we are importing our bikes from the UK. I have sorted out the import process but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how ong it takes to register foreign bikes in SA, how much it costs and how complicated it is??
