Just a word of warning to my fellow spoked wheel fellows: a friend of mine had to renew the spokes on both wheels of his 1150 GS due to excessive rust, and after asking around at amongst others BMW and TracMac landed up with a gent from a bicycle shop in Bellville. He provided everything, the only thing to be done was replacing the spokes and nipples.
To make a long story short, the bike was there for more than a month, possibly 2, and when he got the bike back the front was buckling so badly it is scary! I checked the tension on the spokes with the pitchfork method (using a leatherman but still!), you could play a symphony with all the different notes!
