Riding the Swartberg Pass at the end of April

I was planning to ride the Swartberg Pass end of April on my way to "die hel" .After the recent flooding it doesn't look like it will be possible for a while.
At first i thought it would be a nice challenge to ride it, but after iv'e looked through the pictures more carefully it seems that a full offroad will struggle.
Does anyone know if it will ever be fixed or will it end up like Bloukrans Pass?
