My new old XT600E has a smiley on the front rim and the okes here in PE are a bit reluctant to fix it. A new rim is too expensive at this stage, so i'm looking at some 2nd hand ones. The problem is i struggle to find 1.85" wide rims. The 1.6" seems to be easier to get hold of, but what would this do? All i could find thus far is that the 1.6" is less prone to damage off-road, while not as solid on the black stuff. Also, it seems the T63 (90-90-21) fits a range of rim sizes, from 1.6 - 2.15. So what do the guru's say??
