We are planning a ride to Fish River Canyon at the end of August. The road looked a little dull so I looked at deviating and going from Kuruman, through Van Zylsrus, Askham and then back to Upington.
My interest is the stretch from Van Zylsrus to Askham and the first bit to Upington before it changes to tar again. Has anybody tried it this season? I was looking through the 4x4 forums and it looks ok but getting information form somebody on 2 wheels is always better.
