Hello all.
As this is my first post I will just come right out and say it. I need help.
I am planning a solo trip from Cape Town to Joburg and back (three days each way) on my recently acquired (actually I've had
it for about two weeks) R1200GS following pretty much a straight line. As per current planning the first day will consist of Cape
Town - Wellington - Ceres - Sutherland (via Verlatekloof) - Fraserburg - Carnarvon. The rest of the route will be pretty similar but
probably not as much dirt (I am still considering my options).
My question to you is what do I take with? How worried should I be about punctures, fuel, the roads etc?
If you have ridden this route before or have any advice please help.
Luggage wise I have panniers but no top box. I have no idea whether this is good or bad.
