Venue: Mabibi campsite, Northern KZN (30km north of Sudwana)

Bike: I would suggest nothing smaller than 600cc â?? need a lot of power for the sand.
Difficulty/Grade: Tar 90% Sandy roads 10% - However thick sand..

No fresh water (we will be taking lots on the support vehicle (1 or 2 beers as well)
Directions:
Road access
From Johannesburg, drive to Pongola then proceed on the N2 South towards Mkuze. Approximately 45km from Pongola and 10km before Mkuze turn left towards Jozini. On leaving Jozini take a left turn towards the â??Coastal Forest Reserve and Kwangwanaseâ? (signposted), ensuring that you are proceeding over the Pongola dam wall. After 45km at T-junction turn right towards â??Kwangwanaseâ?. Proceed for another 47 km and at the circle turn right towards â??Coastal Forest Reserveâ?. After 15km turn left onto a dirt road marked as â??Coastal Forest Reserveâ?. â?. It is 4.7km along this road to the Coastal Cashews Factory on your right hand side, where you will be collected. The travelling time is approximately 7.5 hours. Four-wheel drive vehicles can proceed straight to the campsite following the â??Coastal Forest Reserveâ? signs.
Activities: We will be escorted by a support vehicle that will be carrying all the kit, food and booze. Since we are avid fisherman we will be taking with our fishing tackle, snorkeling gear and so forth. This is a guys weekend so no rules, no agenda everyone just do what they wantâ?¦..
I would suggest that you buy a cray-fishing license and take along some snorkeling gear. The water is clear with a huge amount of nice spots for fishing and snorkeling.

Have a look â?? there are a huge amount of nice off road trails were you can go and play that falls outside of the protected area so to speakâ?¦(must just warn â?? the whole area is protected but the bulk of the roads falls outside of the reserve gatesâ?¦
