Hi WildDogs.. Im Monty. Australian Guy living in BKK but travelling here to ZA on regular basis and deadly keen to get on a bike here

I ride  in Bangkok 

i) 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200s
ii) 2008 Yamaha FZ1 but modified with Ivan' mods so its around 150 HP
iii) 2010 Kawasaki KLX de restricted

Mainly do  most of the riding up north near Chiang Mai where there are some glorious roads but also starting to venture into the jungles of Burma and northern Thailand as well as  Laos.. nothing makes one wish for more horsepower on the klx when you are being chased along a trail by an irate elephant...

Have to be out here for two month April on so looking at  sense of renting versus shipping a bike over.... I crazy when I go into the bike shops here.. Thailand has huge duties on anything over 500cc.... literally you guys can buy at half to 1/3rd the price compered to what I can.....
