Hi Guys
Can someone with experience in a steering damper please explain to me how to set it up?
I recently fitted one (which I purchased new) and are struggling to set it up. (Maybe it is supposed to be like that?). I turn mine completely out (soft) and start to turn it in (harder).
I do not feel any resistance when turning the steering from left or right. I only start feeling a difference in resistance on the last half turn from fully in (Hardest setting).
I recently had an off where I thought the steering damper should have helped me, but didn't. I was traveling at about 80km/h when I went over a rut in the road. The rut
grabbed my front wheel fully/immediately turning it to the left (This is where I thought the damper would have helped) causing me to fall.
I need some help / guidance in setting it up.
